Jiu jitsu class designed for youth aged 4-8 years old. In this class we focus on the basic movements of jiu jitsu and reinforce fundamental concepts through the use of games and activities.

Youth Jiu Jitsu

This class is designed for youth aged 9-14. This class is focused on teaching the fundamentals of jiu jitsu to children. A mix of self defense and sport techniques, this class strives to build confidence and self esteem through physical training.

Fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu

The basics of Jiu Jitsu. For us Jiu Jitsu consists of 5 elements: Stand up Self Defense, Striking, Takedowns/Throws, Ground Techniques, and Philosophy (why we do what we do). In this class you will learn the foundational techniques and principles of each of these elements. Designed as an entry level class for beginners as well as a reinforcement class for practitioners of every level, this class features dedicated warm up drills, individual techniques, and safely monitored sparring.

Advanced Jiu Jitsu

Jiu Jitsu is a lifetime art of great depth. Once you have achieved a basic level of understanding, the deeper level of techniques can be sought. This class focuses on that deeper level. Concentrating more on set ups and variations, we strive to perfect the fundamental moves while chaining them together into a flow of dynamic movement. This class features specialized warm up drills, detailed technique drilling, and fast paced sparring.

Competition Class

Jiu Jitsu competitions are a way to test yourself against similarly skilled opponents. It forces you to train harder and prepare for more variables. It is fun, fast, scary, exciting, and most of all, it is a valuable tool for improvement. Competitions are designed to pair people of similar age, weight, and skill levels against each other in a safe and regulated match. In this class we work to prepare for these competitions. These classes feature a faced paced training environment designed to simulate the pressures of competition. There is a mix of partner drilling and competitive evolutions to help improve your fitness, mind-muscle connection, and faced paced decision making.
